meters at the NCAA Division III national championship meet.
Not the finish he was looking for, but I am proud he qualified for
the first time ever. |
| 2/28/2009 - Ran 14:46.46 for 5000
meters to place 3rd overall in the CCIW conference meet. This
time puts him under the provisional qualifying mark for the second
time this season. Completed his double distance day with a
8:43.02 for 3000 meters to place 7th. Next up - All-American
in the 5K! |

meters at the
UW-Whitewater Warhawk Classic to provisionally qualify for the
NCAA Division III Indoor championship meet |

am sure he is still recovering his hurt pride after being unable to

| 3/6/2009 - Ran 4:06.45 for the full mile to place
17th at the Alex Wilson last chance meet and establish a huge new
personal best. Way to go Steve! |
| 2/28/2009 - Ran 1:53.08 for 800
meters to finish 4th in the event at the ACC championships.
After finishing 9th in the outdoor 3000 meter steeplechase last
year, big Fin stepped up and scored at the conference level for the
first time in his career. Congrats! He ran 1:53.36 on
Friday night to qualify for the final. |

| 3/13/2009 - Terrence and his 4 x 400 meter relay
teammates placed 5th in 3:19 to earn All-American honors.
These points also helped Wisconsin-Lacrosse tie for the national
title. |
| 3/11/2009 - Terrence called me on Saturday all
ecstatic because he broke 50 for the first time in a split and
helped his team run 3:18 and change to qualify to the NCAA Division
III national meet. Their spot had been in jeopardy due to
improvements by other teams, but Terrence's split in the mid-49
second range helped them get in. Nats are this weekend. |
| 2/28/2009 - T-squared ran in his team's
conference meet and had some mixed results. The 400 meters did
not go well as he was off of his PR and did not make the final, but
he did run 22.95 to set a new best in the 200. He also ran a
leg on the 4 x 200 meter relay team that placed third. His
Lacrosse team won the conference title. |
| 2/21/2009 - Terrence had to have
run a solid split because his team ran 3:20.01 to win the 4 x 400
meter relay at Pointer/Eastbay Invitational hosted at Stevens Point.
This team performance moved Lacrosse into the #5 or #6 spot
nationally and will probably secure them a spot in the NCAA Division
III national championship meet. Way to go Terrence! You
have to get me one of those All-American certificates when you guys
get the job done. |

| I went out to lunch with OB this week, and he let
me know that he is running indoor track. He recorded a
9:00-9:05 3000 as his best (running at the Reggie Lewis Center in
Boston). |
